Rep. Perez to Facilitate Direct Assistance for Constituents in Naselle, Washington

Date: May 15, 2024 Marie Gluesenkamp Perez

On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington’s Third District will be making herself available to the constituents of Naselle, WA, through a session of mobile office hours. This initiative, intended to bridge the gap between government services and the public, will be held at the Naselle Timberland Library Meeting Room, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Having already orchestrated similar sessions, Rep. Perez demonstrates her continued commitment to ensuring her constituents have direct access to the assistance they may require from federal agencies, including the Veterans Affairs (VA), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and the State Department. This initiative is part of a broader effort by Rep. Perez to reach out to those in her district, especially individuals in rural areas who might find accessing federal services challenging.

Rep. Perez and her team have a notable track record of aiding constituents, having successfully reclaimed over $1.7 million owed by federal agencies to 1,198 individuals. This accomplishment underscores her dedication to resolving issues related to Social Security payments, tax refunds, and veterans’ benefits, among other federal entitlements. For those unable to make it to the mobile office hours in Naselle, the congresswoman’s offices in Vancouver and Kelso remain open and equipped to offer assistance, whether in person, online, or via telephone.
